Mother’s Day has arrived and we all want to shower our love and affection to our mothers on this special day. No creature in this Universe can be as potent as a mother! She is the reason you are here! She is the reason for your happiness! She is the one who is probably endowed with all the powers in this universe. God has in a way given her the power to take up the affairs of the world.
Being a mom means more than having given birth to a child. It’s loving and knowing a soul before you have even seen it. It’s carrying and caring for a life completely dependent on you for its survival. It’s giving air to the lungs that grew within you, and sight to the eyes that will never see you as anything but mommy. Surely your heart is melting after reading the above.
This Mother’s Day Be wants to share with you the most important life lessons that we have learnt from our mothers which eventually shape our personality and life.
Unconditional Gratitude
Mothers have this innate nature of sheer gratitude in all things they see or do. They have taught us to be humble and grateful for our lives. Any big or small gestures had to be promptly responded by a thank you and when in need of something then expect to say please. It is the life changing attribute that we learn from our mothers.
Face Criticism With A Smile
Once we turn mature it’s very difficult for some of us to take criticism from anyone. But we forget that our mothers always taught us to fight any challenges with a smile. Her wisdom showered upon us by teaching us that criticism is a form of motivation to evolve into a better person.
Love Thy Self
The most rewarding life lesson you will learn from your mother is to love yourself. As you get older your time and energy goes into raising your family. However, our mothers taught us from the very beginning that learn to love yourself the way you are. This world is a funny place as we totally get influenced by media and society on how you should look and think. Stop right there and take a look at yourself bare. The way you feel about yourself will dictate your attitude towards yourself, others, activities, and so much more! Loving yourself will also influence others to love themselves!
Breathe In The Future, Breathe Out The Past
Never look back anything that has given you unpleasant memories and heart ache. Mothers’ often says to us when we are in trouble that ‘child learn to move on as life is too short for complaining‘. We need to remember these golden words always. Look ahead in life and let the past redeem itself. No matter what situation you may be in your mother always told you that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
Keep Learning and Never Stop Dreaming
When we are young one of the fondest memory of our mothers will be the constant nagging to study and study harder. She taught us the importance of education and knowledge. Academic education was not the only thing she pushed us for. She wanted us to dream and make those dreams come true. ‘Never let anybody bog you down or accomplish anything in life’ is what she said always.

Thank you Mom for all the life lessons you have taught us over the years. We treasure all your memories and would like to wish you a very Happy Mother’s Day!
